Christmas gift-artisan cutting board

I am finally looking at the butcher block cutting board I ordered in December as a Christmas gift. It looks beautiful! It has not yet been given to the intended giftee. I cannot comment on the usability, durability etc. I have confidence it will exceed the expectations of the end user and will be a treasured family heirloom. It appears exactly as ordered. I am very happy to buy from a small, local business. I expect my son-in-law will be equally pleased about that and will love this custom product. So far I am satisfied with what I see! Delivery missed Christmas but was sent shortly thereafter. I can't wait to finally give this gift!
My only problem was communication. There was no confirmation about my personaliation design choices. I reached out and when I also feared no delivery by Christmas I sent an address change request because I would be travelling. All went unanswered, resulting in my gift being retrieved by a neighbour and held until today. This gorgeous artisan gift will finally be given early in February!!!!
